Power of Persistence and Other Habits to Build Success
|
We often view success as an immediate, now-or-never situation,
but the reality is that success takes time to build. It takes ongoing effort, motivation and
Persistence. I share my own story of
Persistence and six other habits I’ve found to be necessary in building
success and the life I desire.

Dhucking Your Responsibilities
| Because there are only so many hours in the day, you need to
make sure that what you spend your time on is aligned with your goals,
priorities and values. Dhucking
your responsibilities with the 5 D’s will give you the structure for making
decisions about your time and help you focus your efforts on what you want to
achieve.

Listen to Shawndra talk about the first "D" to dhucking your responsibilities. |
Paper Progress
|
Warning! This is NOT your average training on how to organize paper and information. This topic is geared to those individuals who are continually challenged by what to do with anything paper or informational. This is not by-the-book filing (unless you've read books on chronic disorganization or AD/HD).
Because each piece of paper you touch is a decision to make, my intention is to help you build your decision muscles so that you don’t get
buried in paperwork and stuck in indecision. I'll teach you the 5 questions to ask and a number of strategies that can help you make progress with your papers.

Small Steps to Healthy Change
| “Healthy” is more than just a number on the scale. “Change” is simple but not always easy. Taking small
steps eases the fear and pain of change and increases the likelihood of
successful long-term change. I share
some of the small steps I took that initially led me to lose and now maintain
my 85 pound weight loss and I’ll ask…”What’s the next, smallest, most doable
step you can take this week?”

Personal & Business Emergency Preparedness
|
Why is it that with all the brochures, checklists, websites
and reminders to prepare our businesses, our families and ourselves for a
disaster or an emergency, most people still aren’t prepared? Yes, it does have something to do with our
belief that it couldn’t happen to us, but I believe the checklists we are
handed as we’re ordered to “do it all” overwhelm most people. This presentation provides checklists and
resources, but focuses on helping participants find that one next step they can take immediately to be better
prepared.
